Refund policy

At House of Abhisha, every product is carefully checked and packed before it leaves our studio. As many of our products are handcrafted, we take great care to ensure that you receive your order in perfect condition.

Due to the handcrafted and customised nature of our products, we currently accept returns or exchanges only in cases of damaged, defective, incorrect or missing products, subject to the terms mentioned below.

1. Return & Exchange Requests

Returns or exchanges are accepted only in cases where you have received a wrong, damaged, defective or missing product.
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please do not wash, use, alter or otherwise handle the product beyond what is necessary to inspect it. Products that have been washed or used will not be eligible for return, replacement or refund.
A 360-degree, continuous and uncut video of the parcel/package opening is mandatory for reporting any damage, missing item or incorrect product. The video should clearly show the condition of the outer packaging, opening of the parcel and the product received.
In case of a wrong, damaged, defective or missing product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Houseofabhisha12@gmail.com.
Your email should include:
- Order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging
- The complete, uncut parcel-opening video
Our team will review the request and determine whether the product qualifies for a return, replacement or refund.
A return or replacement will be processed only after the request has been reviewed and approved by House of Abhisha.
Once approved, we will arrange for the return of the product, where applicable.
Complaints reported after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
Any product approved for return must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition, with all original tags, labels and packaging intact.
If the returned product is found to have been used, washed, altered or damaged after delivery, the return, replacement or refund may be rejected.

2. Returns Due to Personal Preference

As our products are handcrafted and often feature variations in colour, print placement and texture, minor variations are an inherent characteristic of handmade products and are not considered defects.

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted simply because you do not like the colour, print, pattern, texture, size or overall appearance of a product, provided the product received matches the order placed and is not defective.

In exceptional cases where an exchange is approved for reasons of personal preference, the shipping charges for both the return pickup and re-delivery will be borne by the customer.

3. Products Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

The following products are not eligible for return, replacement or refund:

Products purchased during sale periods or at discounted prices.
Customised or made-to-order products, including fitted bedsheets and products customised according to specific measurements.
Products with personalised names, monograms or other customisations.
Customised bed linen or other products made according to specific customer requirements.
Specially customised accessory orders, including customised cushion covers, duvet covers or similar products.
Products that have been washed, used, altered or damaged after delivery.
Products returned without original tags, labels or packaging.
Products for which the complaint is raised after the 48-hour reporting period.

4. Return & Exchange Limit

A return or exchange request will be considered only once per order.

Once a replacement or exchange has been processed, the same order will not be eligible for another return or exchange.

5. Refunds

Refunds are applicable only in cases where House of Abhisha has confirmed a fulfilment error, such as an incorrectly shipped, missing or damaged product, and where a replacement or exchange is not possible.

Once the return has been authorised and the product has been received and inspected, we may provide:

A replacement, where applicable;
A store credit, or
A refund to the customer's original payment method or eligible bank/UPI account, as applicable.

Any applicable shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount where the return is not due to an error on the part of House of Abhisha.

Cash refunds are not provided.

6. Refund Processing

Once a refund has been approved, the processing time may vary depending on the payment method, bank or payment service provider.

House of Abhisha will initiate the approved refund within a reasonable period after the return has been received and inspected.

The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account will depend on the relevant bank or payment service provider.

7. Handmade Product Disclaimer

House of Abhisha products are handcrafted, and each piece carries the individuality of the artisan who makes it.

Slight variations in colour, print placement, texture, weave and other characteristics may occur from one product to another. These natural variations are a part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.

We believe these little imperfections are what make handcrafted products unique.

8. Cancellation of Orders

Orders that have already been processed, customised, manufactured or dispatched may not be eligible for cancellation.

For customised, personalised or bulk orders, cancellation terms may vary depending on the stage of production. Please contact our team as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
